About the Program

Built to Make
Better Shooters

The Range is a shooting-focused camp and competitive league for rising 4th through 8th graders at Clark-Moore's Middle School in Richmond, KY. We go deep on form, footwork, and reps — then put it all to the test in a week of organized shooting competitions.

Our program is built on three pillars: Attitude, Effort, and Execution. Every player who walks through the gym doors will be coached, challenged, and encouraged — regardless of where they start.

Form Shooting & Instruction
Daily teaching sessions covering BEEF mechanics, shot pocket, elbow alignment, and follow-through. Coaches circulate with real-time feedback on every rep.

Catch & Shoot Drills
5-spot rotations, wing and elbow series, and game-speed footwork. We build the habit of being shot-ready before the ball arrives.

Off-the-Dribble Series
1-dribble pull-ups, gather steps, and side-step space-creators. Day 3 is dedicated entirely to shooting off movement — the most game-like skill we teach.

Competition Every Day
Each camp day closes with a scored competition — Free Throw Contest, Around the World, and a Championship day of Knockout + 32. Pressure reps that make the form stick.

After camp wraps, the competition continues. Three weekends of scored shooting games — Knockout, 3-Point Contest, Around the World, 32, and more. Points accumulate across all three weekends, with championship weekend counting double. Open to all rising 4th–8th graders.
